End of search as bodies of sisters who drowned in Njoro are found

The family of two sisters who drowned in River Ndarugu on Monday can now get closure after bodies of the girls were found on Friday afternoon.

According to the brother Vincent Kirui the girls were found by a group of seven divers at 2pm about one kilometer from where they fell.

Their bodies are yet to be taken to Egerton University mortuary at Egerton University.

The two girls, 17-year-old Sharon Chepng’etich and 15-year-old Faith Cheptoo, drowned on Monday morning while heading to a farm to harvest potatoes.
