Thrilling, emotional, motivational and dramatic are just some of the words you can use to describe the movie ‘Shadows’.

The film is based on unpacking the shadows of the past.

JD the main character in this film is a man going through mental health issues that have been brought about by his childhood experiences.

The use of flashbacks in this movie really helped to put into perspective the issues that left JD emotionally scarred.

When it comes to the cinematography, it was simply sublime with some very good drone shots, and the depiction of the different locations showing the beauty and uniqueness of Nakuru.

The premiere at Emboita also showed that indeed the film industry was still alive and kicking as it had a great attendance, filling up three conference halls.
