Nakuru's weekends are packed with events catering for all tastes, from spiritual gatherings to lively parties. Whether you're in the mood for worship, cocktails, loud music or colourful chaos, the city has something for you.

At the heart of the weekend's events is the Overflow Revival at CITAM Nakuru, running from July 9 to 11. Hosted by Rev Collins Muema and featuring guest ministers Rev Jesse Mwai and Dr Ipyana, it is more than just a church event — it is an intense spiritual experience.

A particular highlight will be the opportunity to worship alongside the gospel minister who wrote the hit worship song 'Nawezaje Kunyamaza, Wakati umefanya, Namna hii, Sijaona Namna Hii'.

On Friday, the service will be an all-night Kesha event from 9 pm to 5 am at CITAM Nakuru, located along the Nakuru–Nairobi Highway next to Cool Rivers Hotel. For those seeking a spiritual reconnection, this is your chance.

But Nakuru isn’t stopping there. The weekend also offers fun ways to relax and socialise.

On Friday evening, from 6 pm to 10 pm, there will be a laid-back evening of strategy and laughter at Kijani Café, aptly named Game Night. There will be cool prizes for the podium winners. It's the perfect way to unwind after a long day or make new friends in a casual, fun setting.

On July 12, The Crane Resort will bring out your inner child. They will be hosting the Nakuru Colour Festival. Whether you are a badminton, pool table or Fifa Gaming baddie this is your place from 8 am to 6 pm.

If the colour splash isn't your thing, head to the Green Isle Garden in Milimani for a chilled-out event with friends for only Sh500. Tagged the Buddies edition, the performance will be headlined by Wanaorigin Clan from 2pm till late.

Moving on to the clubbing scene. Space Next Door is pulling out all the stops for an Amapiano and Afrobeats night, with DJ Joe Mfalme on the decks. This is the place to be if you're looking for a high-energy night with non-stop music and a crowd that knows how to party.

Wrap up your weekend on Sunday at Platinum 7D's Old Skool Bongo Brunch, where you can enjoy classic East African hits and vibes courtesy of DJ Cross, DJ Reighnerd and DJ Edu254.

On the other side of town, Wave Xo will have DJ Moh and DJ Kym Nickdee performing on Sunday. From blessings to beats, Nakuru has a special plan for your weekend, so what's yours?
