Nakuru City is bracing for a jam-packed weekend where sports thrills, concerts, playful vibes, and entertainment collide, giving residents plenty of reasons to step out.

The fun starts today with Kijani Fridays hosting a lively Game Night, an evening of laughter, interactive games, and friendly competition. It’s the perfect chance to unwind, catch up with friends, and meet new people in a relaxed yet energetic atmosphere.

That same night rolls into Midnight Vibez, Nakuru Edition at The Crane Resort, that will take place on Friday and Saturday from 6pm to 8am. Guests will enjoy three to five outdoor movie screenings, karaoke, card games, a bonfire, and chilled music under the stars. Tickets range from Sh2,000 for singles to Sh10,000 VIP for two, and a blanket is a smart addition for comfort.

Saturday morning offers a choice of inspiration, learning and spiritual nourishment. The GLOW Ladies Breakfast August Edition is happening at Trinity Chapel Nakuru from 7am to 10am, it brings monochrome-themed elegance, spirituality growth alongside fellow ladies, and empowerment entry fee is Sh250.

Meanwhile, budding innovators can join the Code Club session at Assumption Center from 10am to 12:30pm, where children and teens can learn coding basics, from building games to animations and websites. It is a free teen workshop.

From 11am on Saturday, Music takes the center stage with the Mtindo Session, Fashion Week at Mini City Fresh Market near the Nakuru ASK Showground. The event is Organized by Mtindo & Ashley’s Events. There will be live performances by Lookit_Art, Sol C, Bella Beila, and SmartyBoy, and wrap up with an after-party that promises to keep the energy high well into the night.

Sunday is when the city’s competitive spirit shines brightest at Afraha Stadium for #BingwaFest Rift Valley edition season 2, powered by Betika Na Community. With an eye-popping Sh17 million prize pool, the tournament will feature football, rugby, basketball, and athletics. Fans can expect intense matches, surprise goodies, and a buzzing festival atmosphere.

Right after the trophies are awarded, the celebrations spill into the Nakuru Athletic Club for the official BingwaFest After Party, featuring Mejja, Fathermoh, Ssaru, Uswazi Bwoy, Tipsy Gee, DJ Redbone, Lookit_Art and more. Entry is free.

Nakuru clubs will also be having artiste and top Dj appearance for the weekend promising a range of activities to take up for the weekend.

From game nights and movie marathons to dope concerts, tech workshops, stadium showdowns, and epic after-parties, Nakuru’s weekend calendar truly offers something for every vibe.
