There's something about Nakuru's party scene that keeps revelers coming back for more.

With a surge in events and local entertainment companies raising the bar by hosting shows throughout the year, Nakuru's entertainment scene has flourished in 2024.

This vibrancy is fueled by the opening of new entertainment venues that have introduced creative party themes and energized the local nightlife.

One of the most prominent is Naxouse Entertainment which has redefined Nakuru's event landscape over the past two years with its focus on Afro-house music.

Aziz Mola, one of the company's founders, describes 2024 as a landmark year for Naxouse, highlighted by its two-year anniversary celebration.

"This year we celebrated our second anniversary, which is a testament to the immense love that the people of Nakuru have for Afro-house music," says Mola.

A key part of their strategy has been to diversify venues, helping to highlight unique locations in Nakuru.

"Hosting events in different settings, be it clubs or outdoor spaces, has been instrumental in showcasing Nakuru as a dynamic destination," he explained.

Naxouse has also focused on providing quality entertainment, featuring renowned artists and DJs throughout the year. As part of their efforts to promote local Afro-house talent, the company released the anthem Bodaboda by Simor Music.

Their commitment hasn't gone unnoticed. Naxouse was honored as the Entertainment Influencer of the Year at the 2024 Nakuru Entrepreneur Awards.

"The award recognizes everything we've accomplished and is a result of our fans' unwavering support. It was truly an honor," said Mola.

Looking to the future, Mola envisions bridging gaps in Nakuru's events scene by organizing more Afro-house events to attract attendees from outside the city while fostering community connections.

In an exciting move, Naxouse plans to host an international DJ next year - a move that Mola believes will raise Nakuru's profile in the entertainment industry.

"Bringing an international DJ or artist to Nakuru will solidify the city as a premier hub for high-profile events, potentially surpassing Nairobi," he remarked.

Founded in 2022 by Mola and friends Ben Muraguri and Kariuki Kabii, Naxouse Entertainment continues to shape Nakuru's nightlife leaving a lasting legacy in the Afro-house music scene.
