Naxouse brings Halloween themed party to Nakuru

Last night, Naxouse marked their one year anniversary by hosting a Halloween party at Culture Mambo Lounge.

As soon as one walked into the lounge, you could tell it was going to be an unforgettable night.

The energy in the air was electric with many revellers belting out lyrics to songs that were played by the DJ.

What shook and excited me the minute I walked in, was that majority of the revellers in attendance pulled up in various Halloween costumes.

The lounge that usually has a decent crowd on any other Friday night was full to the brim with some customers left to enjoy their cold drinks either on their feet or at the restaurant, away from all the action.

Another thing that was new to see was how musically interactive the party was. Those present got to experience being a part of the music as shakers were distributed across the club.

The sounds meshed beautifully not only with the songs that were in the DJs sets, but also with the sounds of the conga drums that were being played live.

The result of this brilliant implementation resulted in a totally unique music experience, making everyone fully immersed in the party.

DJ IV, Zeal, MGM and Songs of soul were the DJS that played at the party with DJ IV seemingly being one of the crowd's (ahem my personal) favourite.

While speaking to Mtaa Wangu, Naxouse co-director, Aziz Mola shared that the party was a huge success.

"It was such a beautiful thing to witness many people come out to party and actually dress according to the party's theme," she said.

While concluding the brief chat, Aziz noted that the Halloween party is just an example of the big things Naxouse plans on doing.

"We started with an aim of changing the narrative for Nakuru's entertainment scene and that's what drives Naxouse on a daily. We plan on doing very big things for Nakuru but all in all, we are grateful for the support and love we have gotten from the party lovers so far,” she concluded.
