Summer Bunnies, gather around because it’s yet another moment for you to shine, and kama kawaida, tuko ready.

However, allow me to update you, as things have changed for the better here, not only in terms of shopping, but also in terms of the growing variety of shopping spots.

To begin with, you no longer have to come all the way to town and battle traffic if you want to shop. Several supermarkets have opened, including Kipchimatt, Bounty and a new Quick Mart branch.

Additionally, if you're looking for a one-stop shopping experience at affordable prices, the newly opened China Mart is the perfect place for you. It is conveniently located at Golden Life Mall.

Moreover, with the Encore Hotel set to open soon, Nakuru is about to become even more luxurious, joining the other well-established hotels in the area.

And even with all these new developments, it's important to note that the clubs are still open for business. Whether you prefer chilled lounges, vibrant dance floors or themed party nights, the nightlife venues are fully operational and ready to welcome you throughout the festive season.

In terms of entertainment, growth has been the order of the day, with more venues offering a variety of themed nights. For example, Jade Hekima Lawn hosts R&B nights every Friday, Wave XO Club has band nights every Wednesday and Space Next Door is the place to be on Thursdays.

Meanwhile, Baraza Media Lab continues to enrich Nakuru’s creative culture by providing a platform for plays and poetry showcases.

As we move deeper into the festive season, keep an eye out for more outdoor events, including the Ndumo Festival — outdoor experiences have noticeably increased after all.
Finally, enjoy yourself and do so responsibly, because we definitely need you here next year!
