Before you step out to conquer the streets this weekend, here is your weather plug. Saturday is screaming “let’s link up” energy with its sunny skies. Sunday also brings its fair share of vibe and maybe a cheeky thundershower but still warm.

Basically, the weather is saying get out there and live a little.

And live you shall, because this weekend? Nakuru’s outside is louder than ever.

So plans for the long weekend?

If you are about that bag, you can swing by the Nakuru Trade Expo at Rift Valley Sports Club during the day. The events run from May 29 to 31.

For those out for a good time on Sherehe your first stop could be, The Lawns on Saturday from 2 pm onwards, where Naxouse bring out their legendary Tribe’s Day Out. This one is for the culture. It’s a full-on celebration of identity, afro-fusion music, african glam, and unapologetic self-expression.

Your next location could be Top Cliff Lodge, hosting the RNB vs Caribbean party. The dance floor you didn’t know you needed. From smooth slow jams to island riddims, this party promises to get your body moving in all the best ways.

Craving something to munch while grooving? The Nakuru Food Festival at the Barn BBQ & Lounge Gardens on Saturday and Sunday is the ultimate foodies’ playground.

Smoked meats, juicy bites, flavourful stews, basically, plates that belong on your social stories and in your belly. Add a DJ, lots of dope music, some cold drinks, and it’s giving festival meets flavour explosion.

For sports lovers, Nakuru will be hosting its first East and Northern Africa Dart Championship on May 31 and June 1 at the Lions Club. The event has a Sh 224,000 prize pot up for grabs.

And to wrap it all up, slide into Nakuru clubs which have a lineup of Djs and entertainers to light up your weekend. At Platinum 7D they have a line of DJs on their Madaraka Weekend, featuring Dj Sirme, DJ Jomba  , Sirsilky ,MC Machupa ,Dj  Lyta  and Dj Festa.

 Just next door, Space Next Door acts such as Vera Sidika will be in town alongside Dj Nrik and hyped MC Pau. Dj Topaz alongside MC Mido will be turning up this weekend. At the same time Wave XO will be hosting Amber Ray alongside DJ Tibz and Hype Gad.

And on Madaraka eve as football fanatics turn up to catch the UEFA Champions League Final, Dj Jr and Saimoyolo will be playing at Wave XO.

For the women, Ladies fun day will be happening on Madaraka day at Spotlight academy.
