Another one! Former Governor Lee Kinyanjui's cheeky take on Gachagua ouster
Former Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui, is making quite the splash—on Facebook.
It has been two years since his ousting and now the former Nakuru County boss has traded political manoeuvring for the keyboard, unleashing poetic jabs and literature references that leave his followers laughing.
Mr Kinyanjui took social media by storm referring to the whole debacle surrounding the impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua as performances that could be likened to those that took place during the drama festival.
“Some of the most outstanding plays include, “I’m just a Messenger” by Mutuse, Betrayal in the Mountain by Jeff and “Perfect Revenge”by Weta. A surprise entry is “The Dirty Pulpit” by Terry” reads the post in part.
The final section of the post reads, “The finals are widely expected to feature “Return of Hot Air” by Coome and “Marumbai Eaters” by Jeff. These two pieces are based on a true story from the Anointed Republic”
The comment section is where all the fun lies and as always Facebook users never disappoint.
There were those who simply gave the former governor his flowers for a job well done.
Sammiey N CaSamm, simply stated that he liked the humour that was in the post while Sila Simon, says, “This was a nice piece of writing, bwana Governor”
“Wacha nicheke hehehe” says John Kamau
Steven Muhanji says, “Gavanaree you are funny”
Mpenda Peace Caroline was also not left in complementing the former county boss, “Hahaha you never disappoint with your points”
Others simply were not getting the references and wanted this to be broken down further ndio waelewe.
“Break down bwana hii maneno mtu wachini pia asome” says Amos Kitale Seedlings.
Some took the opportunity to highlight how they miss the leadership of the former Governor.
Methu Mary says, “Ulipotelelea wapi gvn wangu, very intelligent”
“Many people miss your charisma Gvn 2027” says John Ngigi
Others took the opportunity to remind him of his loss during the 2022 general elections.
“Wewe ulishindwa na mama” says Ben Mogaka.
“Why are you taking about betrayal in the mountain yet you were on the other side?” asks Wesley Sambu.
Robinson Ng’eno tells the former governor, “ Fight your own battles and mind your business”
As always we await with baited breath for the next Lee Kinyanjui production
