Some are laying cabros while others focus on the finishing touches, as they work round the clock to complete the project.
Interestingly, the building is gradually assuming the familiar appearance of other Quick Mart outlets.
A large banner displayed on the front reads, ‘Quickmart Statehouse Road, Nakuru Opening Soon’, signalling the retailer’s anticipated arrival.

This new branch will mark a significant return for the supermarket in Nakuru, coming in as the second outlet after the mother branch, Quick Mart Shabab, which was the first ever Quick Mart Supermarket outlet in Kenya.
Quick Mart, founded in 2006 in Nakuru by the late John Kinuthia, has grown into one of Kenya’s most recognisable retail chains.
With the new outlet, the supermarket is expected not only to compete with the nearby Naivas Highway branch but also to inject fresh business activity into the area.
There is hope that the store will operate on a 24-hour basis, just like many of its Nairobi branches.
According to a reliable source, the Quick Mart Statehouse Road outlet is set to open in December.
