Grace Mukuhi left Gilgil with her son, Steve Waweru, 44 years, for Nairobi to attend Pastor Ezekiel’s crusade that was to be held at Kasarani. This was the morning of September 21.

Steve Waweru was especially looking forward to this trip because this was his first time ever going to Nairobi.

They alighted at the Tea Room bus terminus and without wasting time they headed to board a bus that would take them to Kasarani.

Unfortunately, that never came to be. Amidst the fracas caused by the heavy traffic of people in that part of the city centre, they lost sight of each other. This was the last time Grace was with her son.

It has now been three weeks since she set her eyes on her son.

George Kamau, the younger brother to Steve says that he has reported the matter to Kamukunji Police Station and visited several hospitals in Nairobi in a bid to locate his brother.

“In the last two weeks I have made several trips to Nairobi. I reported the matter to the Kamukunji Police Station. I have also been to most of the hospitals in the area but I have not been able to find him,” the 39-year-old says.

“My older brother is a quiet person and he keeps to himself most of the time. My plea is for anyone with any information pertaining to his whereabouts to kindly reach out to us on 0726269031 or 0724271459,” he concludes.
