Third-year Kabarak University student found dead by the roadside

Detectives in Nakuru are investigating the mysterious death of a third year nursing student from Kabarak University who was found dead on Friday.

The body of Derrick Malumasa 23 was found dumped by the roadside along Nakuru-Mogotio road near Kampi ya Moto trading centre.

Rongai OCPD Wilberforce Sicharani confirmed the incident. He said the body was discovered by students on the roadside who then informed them. 

"We were informed that a body was found on the road and we immediately responded. The body is also covered with stab wounds. As of now, detectives from the Criminal Investigation Department are conducting investigations," Mr Sicharani said.
