To quote the famous statement of one KRG the Don, Mambo yamechemka.

Today the quiet Nakuru city witnessed lobbing of tear gas canisters and an unexpected clash between lawyers and rowdy youth during a peaceful protest held by the Law Society of Kenya Nakuru Chapter.

Trouble started at the Nyayo Gardens, where the peaceful protestors came head on with unknown persons who started heckling and disrupting the procession.

The police took swift action and quickly jumped into action to protect the lawyers from the goons.

It was a peaceful protest all the way through Kenyatta Avenue, all the way to Pinkam Roundabout and back to town all the while attracting attention of bystanders and the business people who were going on with their day.

Chants by protestors, loud songs by bands, and the sounds of vuvuzelas and whistles filled the air as they all had one message to the County Government, Heshimu Sheria!! Heshimu Mahakama!!

The protestors then made their way to the County Government Headquarters, where things got noisier and messier.

Mr. Muchela in the presence of the County Secretary Dr. Samuel Mwaura expressed their displeasure to the County Government for disobeying court orders in relation to the War Memorial hospital debacle.

The learned friends also demanded that the County obey court orders and hand over the hospital back to the War Memorial hospital management.

The demands were presented in a letter that was officially handed to the County Secretary.

No sooner had the protestors finished engaging with the County Secretary than all hell broke loose as the unknown persons returned, this time throwing stones.

This forced the police to throw teargas to disperse the crowds.
