Police pursuing third suspect in Rev Julius Ndumia’s murder captured on CCTV

Five weeks after the murder of Tabuga PCEA Reverend Julias Ndumia, detectives have now shifted their investigation to pursuing a third suspect believed to be a person of interest in the killing of the cleric.
Through a social media post DCI requested members of the public to help in identifying a man caught on CCTV whom they claim could significantly advance investigation and help identify additional accomplices.
The investigators are seeking assistance from the members of the public to share information that may lead to the arrest of this person even as the case of the two suspects Felix Odinga Okumu and Beryl Nafua Atenyo counities in court.
The man who the investigators are in pursuit of is seen on the post, dressed in a black jumper and a brown cap as appeared to be Infront of a M-pesa outlet.
“As investigations progress, detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual captured in the images below. The first image is the original photograph obtained during investigations, while the second is a digitally enhanced version generated from the original image to improve visibility of identifiable features,” reads part of the post.
Further the post mentions that both images depict the same individual who could assist in identifying additional accomplices, as detectives continue to pursue further leads and actively profiling other individuals of interest linked to this heinous act.
The authority has also provided ways the public can reach out to them with information regarding the same including a toll-free number Call 0800 722 203 (toll-free) or WhatsApp 0709 570 000.
Alternatively, one could also report to the nearest police station or anonymously through #FichuaKwaDCI.
The court released the couple who were charged with robbery with violence on a Sh3000,000 bond or a cash bail of Sh200,000.
As detectives pursue more suspects the case on Nafula and Okumu will be mentioned on June 17 for a pre-trial conference.
