Police are appealing to members of the public to assist with information that may lead to the arrest of Beth Muthoni, who is currently at large and stands as a suspect in the murder of 27-year-old Peter Njenga.

According to a police statement, the landlord Peter Mwangi, who rented his house to the two made a report at Mwariki police station, in Nakuru city, of a person who had been stabbed to death by a fellow female tenant.

The deceased’s body was found with notable stab wounds on his left arm and left eye with his lifeless body lying on the seat.

Neighbours shared that the two were in a relationship, nothing that before the murder of Njenga, the two lovers had gone on a drinking spree in a nearby club.

However, the events turned ugly after the two engaged in an argument upon their return home.

From the report, neighbours note that it was at that point that the female suspect stubbed the deceased.

Speaking to Mtaa Wangu, Nakuru East Sub-county police commander, Mohamed Wako, confirmed the murder incident, noting that police are still looking for the said suspect who has since gone into hiding.

The deceased’s body is awaiting post-mortem at the PGH Annex hospital funeral home.
