Autopsy report reveals what killed Molo activist Richard Otieno
An autopsy report has revealed what exactly killed activist Richard Otieno alias Molo President.
According to a medical report by government pathologist Dr Johansen Oduor, the deceased died as a result of severe head injuries.
Dr Oduor, who conducted the autopsy at Kericho County Hospital on Friday, said the injuries were the result of both sharp and blunt trauma.
The pathologist also found that the deceased had a fractured skull as a result of stab wounds to the back of the head.
Earlier in the week, detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations' homicide squad began investigating the death of the activist.
Mr Otieno met his unfortunate end at the hands of armed gangsters on Saturday after leaving a popular club in Elburgon Township after watching an English Premier League match.
Otieno, alias 'Molo President', was attacked by armed gangsters as he was walking home from a club in Elburgon township where he had gone to watch an English Premier League match a few minutes after midnight.
