Academic giant Moi High School Kabarak records 62 As in 2023 KCSE results

Moi High School Kabarak has been a top performer in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams and this year was no different after 62 of its students scored A plain in the just released KCSE results.

More than 350 students from the institution scored grades that will enable them to join university and pursue their dreams.

155 students scored A minus, 102 scored B Plus, 60 scored B Plain, 18 students scored B Minus while 4 students scored C Plus.

In last year's results the school had 33 A plain 136 A minus 84 students had B plus and 56 had a B plain. 

The school managed to post a mean grade of 10.43 mean score as opposed to last year where they posted a mean score of 10.13 in the 2022 KCSE results.

The school principal Ms Bethseba Cheruiyot, said that the teachers’ and students’ hard work and dedication made the school post good results.

"The teachers on their part played a critical role in ensuring the students were well prepared and in addition to this the students also went an extra mile and gave it their all. All this is evident from these great results that we boast of today," she said.

Larry Mule, one of the students who scored an A, said that the good results he posted are out of hard work and dedication to achieve his dreams.

"I would like to join the University of Nairobi to pursue medicine," he said.
