Oilers, Kabras set for Nakuru showdown: Gates close at 2pm sharp!

For the first time in its 86-year legacy, the Enterprise Cup Final, Kenya’s oldest and most prestigious rugby tournament will be held outside Nairobi, and the honour goes to the vibrant rugby city, Nakuru.
In what promises to be a fiery Rai Derby, home side Menengai Oilers will lock horns with defending champions Kabras RFC on Saturday, April 26, at the iconic Nakuru A.S.K Showground.
It’s not just a game, it’s a battle for legacy, pride, and silverware.
Ahead of the match, Menengai Oilers have issued guidelines ahead of the high-stake finals.
In a public advisory shared on their Instagram page, Oilers have urged fans to arrive early, noting that gates will open as early as 10 AM and strictly close at 2PM, an hour before match kickoff.
Organizers emphasized that no fans will be admitted past 2PM to avoid last-minute crowd surges and ensure safety.
“Please arrive early. We will not be admitting fans after 2 PM to avoid last-minute crowd surges,” reads part of the notice.
On traffic and parking advisory they have urged fans to brace for increased traffic around the venue.
Noting that limited parking slots will be available at a fee, and early arrival is encouraged to secure convenient spots.
Further commenting on service time and entry tips the organizers estimate an average service time of under 30 minutes, encouraging fans to buy tickets early, download e-tickets in advance, and have them ready at the gate for faster access.
The Oilers' clash with Kabras is expected to be a high-octane fixture, as both sides bring top form into this finale. Kabras are eyeing yet another trophy, while Oilers aim to capitalize on home advantage in front of a passionate crowd to clinch their first enterprise cup title.
