Nakuru RFC (Wanyore) suffered a heavy 57-6 defeat at home to Kabras RFC, marking this their biggest loss of the season.

The hosts managed only two penalty kicks in the first half, going into the break trailing 6-28. In the second half, Nakuru RFC struggled to break through Kabras RFC's defence, but failed to score any points.

Meanwhile, Kabras dominated the game, adding 29 more points to seal their commanding victory.

Nakuru RFC captain Phillip Okeyo acknowledged the defeat as their toughest this season, emphasizing the need to regroup for the remaining fixtures.

“This was a major loss for us, though Kabras are a very strong team. We must ensure we win the upcoming games,” says Okeyo.

On the other hand, Kabras RFC captain Eugene Sifuna celebrated the win, praising the team's effort in overcoming a challenging atmosphere at Nakuru’s home ground.

“Playing against Nakuru RFC is never easy, especially at their home ground, with the fans adding to the pressure. Winning here means a lot to the team,” says Sifuna.

He added that the victory reinforced their position at the top, boosting confidence ahead of their upcoming challenging fixtures.
