Magix Enga, born and raised in Nakuru was a talented secular musician and producer who worked with some of the biggest names in the Kenyan Music Industry.

His signature line 'Magix Enga on the beat' is not foreign to music lovers in the country and beyond.

Magix Enga had a knack for creating catchy beats and melodies that made his songs popular and successful. He was living the dream, enjoying fame and fortune, until a dark cloud seemingly hang over him, sucking up his success.

The once famous producer therefore took a risk to appeal for help online last year. He posted a video with his unkempt hair seated on a trunk of a tree looking disoriented, lamenting he was not doing well.

The video went viral, dividing Kenyans with some feeling sorry for him while others felt nothing.

A quick look at his social media revealed that the end to his woes maybe a little too far from over.

As recent as December 23, 2023, Magix posted a photo of him on his Facebook page with visible injuries on his face. In the caption, he insinuated that he had been a victim of assault.

Another post on his Facebook page dated October 25, 2023 highlights his struggles, pointing fingers to some of the big names in the music industry, as having taken advantage of him.

The post ends with an appeal for financial help from his fans.

In a show of brother hood, gospel artist Bunny Asila, media personality Willy M Tuva and content creator Presenter Kai finally made their way to Magix Enga’s hood, on January 2 carrying with them shopping, where they found Magix Enga, along with his two brothers.

In a heart warming You tube video posted by Mseto East Africa ,the supportive group is seen to share words of encouragement to Magix Enga, fostering a positive atmosphere.

The highlight of the video is when Magix Enga  is given the platform to perform his soulful new song “Mungu wangu”,  showcasing his talent, as the group  of the three still believes that Magix Enga has  great potential to change his life for the better.

As he sang, the people surrounding him were seen nodding their heads, others cooperating with a part of the lyrics enjoying the flow of his music.

Mzazi Willy M Tuva further took to his social media to make known his intention to help Magix Enga.

On X (formerly Twitter), Tuva tweeted; "On 2nd January we visited MAGIX ENGA in his hood in Nakuru with Bunny Asila. Our objective is to bring back MAGIX' MAGIC."

Mtaa Wangu tried reaching Magix Enga to enquire how he has been fairing but unfortunately he was unavailable at the time of publishing this article.
