Nakuru is in an event mode this weekend, na si ile ya kelele tu, ni ile ya kuchagua vibe yako.  From culture to calm, from sport to soft life, hii ni moja ya zile weekends unauliza, "Leo nitoke wapi?"

As evenings roll in, at the Old Town Hall on Saturday 28 Death by Skirt will be showcasing on stage. Kama unapenda Kenyan theatre yenye haifichi chochote, hii ndio show.

Over to the Alps Hotel, The Creative Picnic with Friends will be on. Paint and sip, body art, games, DIY spa corner. Unaingia ulivyo, unatoka ukiwa lighter. Kama ni kujipeleka date ama uko na squad, hapa ni soft life headquarters.

Foodies hawajasahaulika pia. Kunste Grounds, Section 58 will have the Nakuru Street Food Festival.  Smokies, tacos, dumplings, desserts, hii ni ile event unaingia njaa, unatoka ukiwa satisfied na roho pia. Nakuru inajionyesha kwa ladha, vibes and music by the Djs, na community.

For fitness lovers, Nyayo Gardens will be a place of interest on Saturday morning as early as 6.30 am. Catch the Nakuru Walk movement as they warm up for their 24 Km walk to Bahati Falls. Pure feel-good energy powered by the Nakuru Walk Movement. Expect to make a community and a few acquaintances here and there during the walk.

Na kama wewe ni wa vibes on wheels kabla ya vibe on foot, kuna plan yako pia. Saturday road trip inatoka Nakuru kuelekea Bahati Falls, more like a mini road trip. Ukifika, ni hiking, splashes of the cold waterfall mist, team activities, na moments strangers who might end up in your friends’ circle. This is the kind of escape Nakuru residents live for with the Nakuru Social Club.

At Pavilion Sports Club in Milimani, the Padel Open Day inaleta energy mpya town. From Friday 11am, first timers will get free padel sessions. Expect some good music from the Djs, food and free coaching from 11 am to 3 pm.

If you are a rugby fan there is a big game in town.

At the Refinery Grounds, stage iko set for a clash. Menengai Oilers is hosting the bankers in town. Stakes ziko juu, na kila point itahesabika. By 4pm, seats zitakuwa statements, jerseys, drums, chants, na energy ya home crowd. Hakuna long drives. Hakuna livestream stress. Ni rugby live, loud, right here at home between Oliers and KCB.

This is one of those weekends the city inakukumbusha inaweza fanya kila kitu. Wewe tu ndio uchague, utoke nje, na uwe part ya story.

Na mtaa, mtaa iko active.
