The usually quiet and empty field at Rift valley sports club came to life on Saturday night as thousands of music lovers came together to experience the Walker town concert.

From the set up of the stage, sitting areas and walker bar it was clear that the organisers had thought of every aspect of this event.

It started nice and slow with Okello Max serenading the crowd. Known for his 'Kung’fu' banger, Okello Max led the crowd in warming up for the night as more people streamed into the venue.

Soon after, Kwambox took to the stage and pumped up the energy with the help of Dj Protégé who clearly did not come to play.

Guided by a dance crew on stage, the audience moved in unison as if they had all been part of the practicing session.

A few minutes past midnight, Nigerian artist Joeboy stepped on stage accompanied by cheers from the crowd. For one and a half hours, the audience sang along to his songs and danced with no sign of getting tired.

Joeboy picked songs from his previous album and the new one that is expected to drop in two weeks as he repeatedly thanked the crowd for supporting his music career.

The night then culminated with Nyashinski’s explosive performance. Doing what he does best, Nyashinski moved the crowd in a performance that created a feeling that could best be described as being in a trance.

His energy oozed from the stage permeating into the audience thus creating an air of joy.

Being his first time in Nakuru as a solo artist, the ‘hapo tu’ hitmaker left nothing to chance. Those who could dance, danced while those who could not moved their bodies in an attempt to be one with the beats.

The live band, stage ambience and crowd all came together to create an unforgettable night for everyone who was at the venue.

The Walker town concert is expected to be held in various towns across the country.
