In Nakuru, the weekend is always full of unlimited options on events to attend. However, this weekend, the city might be experiencing a go-slow on events.

The only thing setting the bar higher is this July cold. Hata wewe unajua Nviiri the Storyteller was singing about this kind of chill when he said, “Hii baridi ni mbaya...njoo nikukumbatie,” sending hugs to you all.

However, that’s not to say you can’t step out of the house. This weekend, the Baraza Media Lab at CK Patel will be running the Baraza Photo Sessions, “Frames of Nakuru Exhibition”, which will be open from 2pm to 6pm on Saturday July 19.

On the other hand, Gen Zs have been big in the streets, protesting bad governance the country has been experiencing. On this note, the Central Rift Regional Debate Contest might be your next space to stand in solidarity, other than the streets.
