The second edition of Rhythm Fiesta by Tamasha Band was nothing short of spectacular an evening defined by electrifying live music, infectious energy, and a series of unforgettable performances that kept revelers on their feet well into the night.

‎‎Following the success of its inaugural edition, anticipation for this year’s event was understandably high. From the onset, the lineup promised an exceptional experience, and it did not disappoint. Many attendees, myself included, were particularly eager to see music icon Kidum take the stage.

‎‎As I got to the venue, DJ Reinhard was wrapping up his set, skillfully warming up the crowd. He soon welcomed DJ Milo to the decks, with both DJs joined by the vibrant MC Chela.

‎‎DJ Milo seamlessly took over, delivering a high-energy mix that kept the dance floor alive as more partygoers continued to arrive. The synergy between the DJs and the MC created a lively atmosphere that set the tone for the night.

‎‎An hour later, DJ Ruby stepped onto the stage with what can only be described as an out-of-this-world introduction. For the next two hours, he delivered an electrifying performance, expertly blending tracks while consistently engaging the crowd.

‎‎His ability to read the audience and maintain momentum stood out. In fact, his set was one of the most memorable moments of the night, which made me dance nonstop.

‎‎At 11:35 p.m., Tamasha Band finally graced the stage, delivering a dynamic live performance that ran until 12:50 a.m. Their set reaffirmed the essence of Rhythm Fiesta celebrating authentic live music. The band’s stage presence, instrumentation, and interaction with the audience added depth and richness to the overall experience.

‎‎Shortly afterward, MC Meso took over the microphone and successfully hyped the crowd, maintaining the energy until 1:35 a.m. when songstress Nadia Mukami stepped onto the stage. She performed for 30 minutes, thrilling fans with her hit songs and charismatic stage presence.

‎‎She was later joined by Arrow Bwoy, and together they delivered an engaging joint performance that lasted another 30 minutes. One of the highlights of their set was the active involvement of audience members, who sang along word for word, creating a magical, unified moment.

‎‎Arrow Bwoy then remained on stage for an additional 15 minutes, treating fans to powerful sing-alongs that further amplified the excitement in the venue.

‎‎Finally, the much-anticipated headliner, Kidum, accompanied by the energetic Boda Boda Band, began his hour-long set. His performance proved exactly why he was the headline act.

‎‎With his signature vocals, commanding stage presence, and timeless hits, he captivated the audience from start to finish. The Boda Boda Band matched his energy perfectly, delivering a flawless live accompaniment that elevated the entire show.

‎‎Throughout the night, MC Meso, having taken over from MC Chelaa, steered the program, ensuring smooth transitions and sustained enthusiasm until the early hours of Sunday morning.

‎‎Although the event was largely successful and well-executed, a few improvements could enhance future editions. Notably, better stage time management would help ensure that headline acts perform earlier, allowing fans to enjoy their sets without fatigue.

‎‎Overall, Rhythm Fiesta continues to carve a niche in Nakuru’s entertainment scene. By focusing on live performances and curated musical experiences, the event offers a refreshing alternative to conventional clubbing culture.
