Nakuru is the place to be this week, offering an exciting mix of entertainment, motorsport excitement, community events and faith-based outreach.

From live concerts and a high-stakes darts tournament to the return of the Safari Rally and a heartwarming street feeding initiative, the town is buzzing with activity.

The entertainment scene is buzzing with Kenya's biggest artistes taking centre stage. Friday night was a hit in Nakuru as Prince Indah performed at Jacaranda while Bensoul wowed the crowd at Wave XO.

On 15 March, the party continues with Bahati headlining Wave XO while Willy Paul rocks Space Next Door. Over at 7D Platinums, DJs Joe Mflame and Kriss Darlin will be spinning the best tunes all night long. For country music lovers, Sir Elvis will be performing live at the Emboita Hotel, delivering classic hits for an unforgettable evening.

Rally enthusiasts are gearing up for the adrenaline-packed 2025 World Rally Championship, which kicks off on March 20. Get ready for a thrilling experience as world-class rally drivers tackle the challenging Kenyan terrain. Umejipanga aje? Remember to party responsibly and don't drink and drive.

Meanwhile, members of the Nakuru Motor Club are returning from an adventurous coastal road trip that began in Malindi on March 12. They've travelled through Lamu and Watamu, with a stop in Kilifi on before returning to Nakuru. If you're up for a last-minute adventure, fuel up and join the convoy.

For dart enthusiasts, the Flamingo Dart Tournament will be held at Jacaranda Dart Arena on the 15th and 16th of March. With a first prize of Sh90,000, the competition will be fierce attracting top dart players from across the region.

Global Youth Day - "Show Up! In The Cities"

On March 15, Nakuru will host the Global Youth Day with the theme "Show Up! In The Cities," which encourages young people to engage in faith-based outreach and service in urban areas. The event promotes acts of kindness and evangelism to spread God's love.

Organised by Kaptembwa Angaza AY, the day will begin with a food distribution at the Gioto dumpsite from morning to noon. This will be followed by a blood donation drive at 140 Grounds in Kaptembwa from 1pm to 5pm. It's a great opportunity for the youth to give back and make a real difference in the community.

Street Feeding Event - Giving Back to the Community

On March 16, Nakuru residents will come together for a street feeding event at Railways, where meals will be prepared and served to street families. There will also be entertainment to create a lively and joyful atmosphere for all involved.

Enterprise Cup Rugby Semi-Finals

Rugby fans, get ready for an action-packed afternoon. The semi-finals of the Enterprise Cup take place at the Refinery Grounds on March 15, with Menengai Oilers taking on Nondescripts. Don't miss this energetic match!
