'Aluta Sunday' finally makes it way to Nakuru

As many Christian faithful across Nakuru city wake up early to prepare and make their way to church, a couple of energetic and heavily intoxicated party lovers belt out reggae tunes and order more drinks to their already filled tables.

These people have been partying from Saturday night all through to Sunday morning and they don't plan on leaving the club anytime soon, all thanks to Aluta Sunday.

If you are from Nairobi or have partied there severally then you may be familiar with the party trend, Aluta Sundays.

This is where people party all through Saturday night till Sunday morning and end up leaving the club in the afternoon or evening.

Another big characteristic of Aluta Sunday is the reggae jams that revellers jam to as they sip on their overpriced drinks.

As a self appointed 'queen of sherehe,' I am pleased to inform you that Aluta Sunday has finally found it's way to Nakuru at the city's OG party joint: Platinum 7D.

Given the great influence Platinum has on Nakuru's club scene, I predict one or two clubs in the city trying to have a share of the Aluta cake.

With that said, you already know where you'll find me most Sunday mornings.

Lakini even as you Aluta, usisahau kuhydrate cause uko na kazi kesho.

What are your thoughts? Do you think Aluta Sundays are here to stay?
