Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Samuel Ndanyi would no longer be the Nakuru County Police Commander, with Michael Mwaura taking over as the new police boss.

We did a story on some of the notable moments in Samuel Ndanyi’s time.

The story went viral and residents went to the comment section on Facebook to give their two cents on the topic.

From nostalgic nods to his leadership and wild speculations about his next adventure, the community is letting their voices roar.

There are those like Geris Okech who remembers a time when Ndanyi was his superior officer.

My company commander 2005,” says Geris.

Kipkemoi Leonard Podolski says that in 2017 Ndanyi was his Chief Inspector.

We also got to learn that the former county boss was a drill instructor through Kiprono Koech

Lomochu Paul says, “My County police commander in Turkana County, 2017-019, live long boss wangu

My drill instructor in 1995. All the best commissioner Ndanyi. A humble leader. By the way anaenda wapi somebody to inform me please,” says Kiprono.

Just like Kiprono Koech, many other people wanted to know where the former County boss was going to be stationed next.

Janyakach Online Media House also asks, “Ndanyi is going to which County?”

Jimmy Karanja answers this question and he says, “Regional Police Commander Central”

Others simply passed their regards to the former county boss, while highlighting his achievements during his tenure.

James Wainaina says, “Since he took over Nakuru has changed completely, mostly wakora wamehama Nakuru

Fc Ruto says “Example of a good leader. Mr. Ndanyi”

On the flip side, others felt like his tenure as the County police boss left a bitter taste in their mouth.

Sangale Ole Nasieku says, “Good riddance, hoping the new Police Commander will take over from where Peter Mwanzo left”

Now all eyes turn to the new County Police Commander and his ability to curb insecurity cases in Nakuru county.
