Introducing Mr ManHunt Kenya 2024
The search for Nakuru's top male model came to an end when James Murage was crowned Mr ManHunt Kenya 2024 at a highly competitive Mr ManHunt pageant held at one of Nakuru's famous clubs.
Second place went to 23-year-old Kabarak University student Eliud Muturi and third to 25-year-old Tony Blair.
The top three contestants went home with cash prizes of Sh15,000, Sh10,000 and Sh5,000 respectively.
Before the models took to the runway, DJ Carlos got the crowd jamming to music as they sipped their drinks.
Soon the models came out to the cheers and shouts of excited Nakuru revellers.
The theme for both pageants, hosted by artist Hush BK, was climate change, with the various contestants showing off different outfits that spoke to the theme.
"Mr ManHunt was created to give men a platform to model and not feel left out of the pageant world. ManHunt 2024 has been a success and I am happy that James has finally won the title," said organiser Leakey Odera.
James, he says, has been a ManHunt contestant since its inception.
"What makes his win even more special is that he's the only male contestant to bring his mother to the pageant to cheer him on," he notes happily.
The semi-finals of the Face of Nakuru pageant also took place last night at the same venue.
In attendance was Mr ManHunt Kenya 2022, Jim Gatani.
