Nakuru has been on the scandalous map since the start of the year, having its residents live at several ‘wuuehs’ per second.

It all started with the return of Gideon Kibet alias Kibet Bull, after pressure from the public mounted forcing his release.

Immediately after his return he publicly confessed to stopping silhouettes critiquing the head of state which had entertained people on X and found its way into other social media platforms.

Shortly after, an attempted abduction along Kenyatta Avenue occurred, but the abductors were geuziwad by quick-thinking individuals in the city centre, leaving Nakuru hailed as a model for effectively countering such incidents.

Kidogo kidogo the issue on stall allocation at the city market stage blows out of proportion and we don’t know who’s kalia-ing who chapati, is it traders or the county government?

Kule Molo, they murdered ‘Molo’s president’ Richard Otieno, who was heavily critiquing the government, attracting national attention with political leaders and human rights groups condemning the killing of the 31-year-old.

This did not go silent as people from Molo made sure their feelings were known by staging protests, condemning the heinous act and demanding justice for the death of the activist.

Ghafla bin vu, punde si punde, we are dealing with an alleged forced arrest of one of the Ovumbo boys, Brian Odhiambo, who has been missing for almost a month now and the court semad his family couldn’t prove KWS took him. Wueh! 🤦‍♀️

And before we lamba glucose na tutulize kidogo, Nakuru county is yet again on the spot after the disappearance of the body of a seven-month-old baby that went missing at the Nakuru PGH morgue on February 6.

As all this is happening, tumeachwa na weekly bible verses which we meekly say 'Amen' to as we scratch our heads penye pesa ya development inaenda other than drilling boreholes na kuimarisha barabara za vumbi.

Nakuru, in whose hands are you safe?
