Nakuru Governor, Susan Kihika, took to her Facebook page to share a bizarre occurrence where she claimed one person has been sending one shilling to her M-PESA every week.

The person then takes the joke further by requesting a reversal by Safaricom.

When a person requests for an M-PESA reversal, the Safaricom number holder has to approve the reversal process through a call.

A process which the governor describes as “annoying.”

She then goes ahead to joke that since the sender, Simon Wanjiku has already confirmed her details, the least he can do is “let her keep the 1 bob.”

This Facebook post has attracted a lot of laughs and comments sharing the governor’s sense of humour.

Some of these comments left below the post are;

“Wacheni kusumbua governor jameni,” commented by Nathan Rotich.

“Honestly I once sent mheshimiwa ksh. 1 during campaign time…Wycliffe ndio Mimi, admin kindly confirm with mhesh if indeed she saw mine,” said Kipchumba Cheptatel Kimeli.

Ngetich Kip Vinci noted, “This is Kenya,” alongside a laughing emoji, while Daniel Kusimba joked, “unataka kukatlia one bob ya hustler.”

Just last week, Kihika attended Kenya’s first Urban Forum that was convened by the Ministry of Lands in conjunction with World Bank, UN HABITAT, the Council of Governors among other partners.

In attendance were President William Ruto and Vice President Rigathi Gachagua.

The month has been a busy one for Kihika who had recently stepped away from the public eye earning a lot of backlash from Nakuru residents.
