Nakuru gets its first drive-through restaurant
Today, Nakuru makes history, having its first drive-through restaurant.
Kentucky’s Fried Chicken, commonly known as KFC today opened its second branch in Nakuru along the Nakuru-Nairobi highway, which doubles as a drive-through and dine-in restaurant.
Speaking to Mtaa Wangu, Monica Njeri, a Nakuru resident, says that the drive-through has revolutionized the dining experience, offering a quick and hassle-free way to enjoy delicious meals on the go.
Njeri adds that with the newly drive-thru restaurant, she will be able to save a lot of time.
“With my busy schedules, family commitments, and other responsibilities, I find it challenging to set aside time for a sit-down meal. As a mother of three young boys, the convenience of a drive-thru allows my family to avoid complexities of dining out, since it is an easier option to get a quick and stress-free meal!” Says Njeri.
The introduction of a drive-through restaurant in Nakuru will definitely allow residents to conveniently grab a quick bite to eat without necessarily having to wait for long.
One of the KFC representatives told Mtaa Wangu that the restaurant will also be an advantage to a broader audience more so to those with limited mobility or living with disabilities.
They also say that the facility accommodates customers who prefer to dine in, so that shouldn’t be anything to worry about.
With the new exciting addition of a drive-through restaurant, residents can look forward to a more convenient and enjoyable dining experience that complements their fast-paced lifestyles.
