Quickmart Supermarket has expanded its footprint in Nakuru City with the opening of two new outlets, barely six months after launching its State House branch, bringing its national network to 70 stores.
The new branches, located along Kenyatta Avenue in Nakuru's Central Business District and Section 58, are the retailer's 69th and 70th outlets countrywide, underscoring the company's continued investment in the city where the supermarket chain was founded.
Speaking during the official opening, Quickmart Chief Executive Officer Peter Kang'iri said the expansion was a significant milestone for the retailer and reaffirmed the company's commitment to Nakuru.
"Today we are opening our 69th and 70th branches here in Nakuru, which is not only a major milestone for us but also a testament to the confidence we have in this city," Kang'iri said.

According to the CEO, the latest expansion brings the number of Quickmart branches in Nakuru to four, with the outlets collectively employing more than 200 people drawn from the county.
He added that beyond creating employment, the new branches will offer greater convenience to customers by extending shopping hours and bringing services closer to residents in the city center and the rapidly growing Section 58 neighborhood.
"We are proud to continue creating employment opportunities for the people of Nakuru while bringing convenience closer to our customers," he said.
