Naivas Supermarket temporarily shuts its Nakuru branches for system upgrade
Naivas Supermarket’s Midtown branch, located along Kenyatta Avenue, has transitioned to a 24-hour operation.
Naivas Supermarket branches across Nakuru county remained shut on Tuesday as the retail giant embarked on system upgrade.
According to the notice, it issued to its customers all Naivas Supermarket branches across the country, including those in Nakuru, were to be closed on Tuesday starting from 9:00 PM. The temporary shutdown, the retailer says, is aimed at facilitating a scheduled system upgrade intended to improve overall service delivery.
In Nakuru, the closure affected several popular branches that residents frequently rely on for their daily shopping needs, including Naivas Nakuru Westside, Naivas Super Center, Naivas Nakuru CBD which operates on a 23 hour basis, and Naivas Downtown.
However, the retailer has assured customers that the interruption will be brief. Normal operations are expected to resume on April 1 at 9:00 AM, allowing shoppers to continue accessing services without prolonged inconvenience.
Meanwhile, the management expressed appreciation to its customers for their continued support, while also thanking them for their patience and understanding during the upgrade period. The move, they noted, is part of ongoing efforts to enhance efficiency and improve customer experience across all stores.
Shoppers are therefore encouraged to make early purchases to avoid any inconvenience during the temporary closure.
